No mods, same version. Most of the time it's the PC trying to join the Xbox. We've played other cross-play games before with no issue. If the Xbox tries to join with PC it most of the time won't even get past the "synchronizing with other players" part. It might be his wifi but it's really only with FS22 that we've had issues.
